"Alphabet of Inspirations"?

The goal of the "alphabet of inspirations" is to inspire you into the outdoors! Granted, majority of these are personal experiences and traditions I take part in. Each letter in the alphabet starts an explanation of a resource a viewer, a reader, or a person looking at getting into the outdoors should access to feel inspired to take part in this campaign. Every letter leads to a link.  A laska has a reputation for being a sportsman's paradise. I've been to Alaska, and I would recommend going there if you get the chance to. The scenery is phenomenal, and the number of outdoor activities there is endless. Here's a read on what to expect with  visiting Alaska. B oating is a great way to get out and experience the outdoors. For this, you don't need to have an expensive boat. You can use paddle boats, canoes, kayaks, or whatever you can get your hands on. Obviously with whichever boat you prefer, this limits some of your activities. However, just simply going out ...

VIDEO: North Dakota Antelope Hunt 2022

Image
Attached is a video from this past fall, October 7th, 2022, where my dad and I were over by Medora, North Dakota chasing pronghorn antelope. This is the first time we've hunted antelope since our Wyoming antelope hunt back in the fall of 2018. This hunt was different than most hunts that we've been on. This was the opening day of antelope season, and we were able to tag out this same day! The hunt started out good. It was a gorgeous day, little wind, and good hunting weather. With the help of the Onx hunting app, we located a watering hole, and we approached this with caution. Upon stumbling on it, we bumped a heard of antelope that we ended up stalking for a few hundred yards or so. Upon completing the stalk, we settled in, made the shot, and brought down one of the North Dakota's fastest prairie animals, the pronghorn antelope. Feel free to watch the above video to witness the hunt unfold! Sorry for cutting the video short at the hand, excitement and adrenaline took over ...

Co-Authored Post: "A Video Movement?"

How can video make a measurable difference in people's lives? Video presents the possibility to create the most meaningful messages. It is a medium that does not rely exclusively on words. There are visual elements that the viewer and presenter benefit from. It is a matter of showing versus telling. Evidence of the effectiveness of video is something people witness daily. It is virtually impossible to live a single day without watching a video, whether that video is two seconds, or two hours. The only thing needed, then, to make a difference in people’s lives is the message. The context of the grand speech, the leader’s call, is everywhere. Everywhere becomes the context for a leader’s speech. That is the benefit of video that cannot be ignored. Video is ubiquitous. Realizing is all the motive people need to record their call for change.  What can video do in changing people’s views that words alone cannot?  Words are powerful and if they are said correctly they can pro...

What leadership style would you use to manage others?

In effect, this campaign on getting into the outdoors, is an attempt to manage others. It is an attempt to show others a way of living that supports getting outside, enjoying nature, going hunting, going fishing, going camping, etc. This is an ambition of mine that I want to share and get other people encouraged to take a step into the outdoors. My goal is to show everyone various ways they can get out into the outdoors and honor their natural resources that many people take for granted. It is my vision to get more people into nature and to see the pure beauty that mother nature has to offer. Granted, I know that this may be difficult for some, however, this does not mean hole up inside and ignore the concept of the campaign. With the concept of the "Visionary" style of leadership, I relate to my overall campaign to this style of leadership. It is my vision of getting more people into the great outdoors and enjoying nature. It is my vision that people are enjoying themselves...
