How exactly can a person's go-to hobby help them in life?

I recently came across two articles that I believe help show some incite as to why being in the outdoors is beneficial. One of the sites, fs.usda.gov "The wellness benefits of the great outdoors" can be accessed Here. The other site is by draxe.com "6 Health Benefits of Being Outdoors" can be accessed Here

The above picture was taken by me when I was on a hiking-camping trip in Montana. The day consisted of hiking through the Bear Tooth Mountains, stopping and enjoying the scenery, and as well setting up the campsite and enjoying quality time in the mountains. This is a prime example of how I relate to the top two listed articles. On this trip, I felt relieved, and the weight of the world disappeared. This happens as well when I'm out hunting, fishing, or even just being outside. I feel that people lock themselves inside a community too much and don't experience their life outside of their home or community. The biggest thing I get out of being in the outdoors, is that I can be someone different than who I usually am. When I'm outdoors hunting, fishing, camping, hiking, etc. I'm a new version of myself that feels on top of the world. All the stress goes away, relationships with friends and family grow, and there's definitely never a dull moment being outdoors.
